Technology and Enterprise

For Technology and Enterprise, the students had to use the knowledge they have gained in Science this term about how things move to create a race track using recycled materials. The students had to test their race tracks, to see who could make a toy car roll the furthest. Below are some photos of the students testing their race tracks. Congratulations to Lovyn, whose race track made his car roll the furthest.

Book Week

Thank you to all the parents who helped their children to dress up for Book Week. This year, students were encouraged to dress as something from a poem. Well done to all the students in Room 5, who all came dressed up. You all looked amazing!

K/PP Tabloid Carnival

Thank you to all the parents and family who came to spectate at the Kindy and Pre-primary Tabloid event on Wednesday 4th September. The weather held off, thankfully, and all the students had a great time. Thank you to all the teachers and Year 6 students who helped to make the day run so smoothly. Thank you also to all the people who helped to set up and pack away, and also to the parents of the Kindy Red students, who made a special effort to bring their children to participate. Well done to Orange faction, who won the trophy for having the most points on the day.

Sports Carnival

Well done to all the Pre-primary students for how well they ran at the Sports Carnival on Friday 6th September. Congratulations to all the students who received a ribbon for coming in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. A huge congratulations also to Purple faction, who won the overall trophy for the day.

Learning Journey

Tuesday 24th September is the Learning Journey. The classroom will be open and all parents are invited to come and see what your child has been working on. We hope that all parents can make it.

Dancing Lessons

Next term, all students in Pre-primary will be participating in dancing lessons. Room 5's dance lessons will take place each Monday, from Week 1 of Term 4. Permission slips have already been sent home, and need to be returned by Wednesday, Week 10 of Term 3. Cost of the dancing lessons is $37.00 per child and can be paid to the classroom teacher or through the school QKR payment system.
