Easter Break
I hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break and that the Easter bunny came to visit you all. On Thursday before the break, Room 5 went on an Easter egg hunt. The children had made their own Easter baskets earlier in the week. Once all the Easter eggs had been found, we did some Mathematics with the Easter eggs. We sorted them into colours and predicted which colour had the most and which had the least. We counted how many Easter eggs were in each colour group. Then we shared the Easter eggs so that everyone got the same amount. Here are some photos of us hunting for eggs.

Harmony Day
On Wednesday 23rd March we celebrated Harmony Day by having a parade. It was wonderful to see so many students, teachers and parents dressed up. Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity.
It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. It is a day for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common. The central message for Harmony Day is that ‘everyone belongs’, reinforcing the importance of inclusiveness to all Australians.
